The final edition (1601) of the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum printed at the Plantin press, complete with the Parergon and the Nomenclator, in rich contemporary hand colour.

Autograph album of the novelist and animal protectionist Helen Hudson of Hillsborough, on the Hunter River near Maitland, filled between about 1905 and 1917. It holds over 40 original artworks and about 100 signatures by Sydney artists, journalists, family and men of H.M.S. Challenger. Contributors include D. H. Souter, A. J. Daplyn, James R. Jackson, A. J. Fischer, Alfred T. Clint, David Barker and Harry J. Weston, and Rose Scott, founder of the Womanhood Suffrage League, wishes her "Self-development and Freedom". Her Leichhardt novel Flames in the Wind appeared in London in 1917.

Rare first edition of Aaron Arrowsmith's chart of the settlements of New South Wales, published in London on 12 March 1799. The first separately issued map to show the spread of settlement in the colony, it combines Charles Grimes's surveys of Port Jackson, Prospect Hill and the Hawkesbury with Matthew Flinders's sketches of the coast, and was the first published chart to include a survey by Flinders. Landholdings are laid down along the Parramatta and Hawkesbury rivers, with a table of landholders across the top, and the tracks of Bass and Flinders in the Tom Thumb are shown.

Album kept by Norman Devine James of the New South Wales Police, a plain-clothes personal escort on the royal tours of the Prince of Wales in 1920, the Duke and Duchess of York in 1927 and the Duke of Gloucester in 1934. Around 340 items dated 1920 to 1949, including 95 original photographs, ephemera and press cuttings. Beside the souvenirs are the papers of an officer on duty: working programmes, royal train berth labels, motor transport passes and the Buckingham Palace notice of his Royal Victorian Medal. Also the openings of Parliament House, Canberra, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Original watercolour design, dated 1883, by the London stained glass firm Ward & Hughes for a great seven-light window of the History of Joseph, identified as the scheme proposed for the north transept of Selby Abbey, Yorkshire. Fourteen scenes from Genesis fill two tiers of lights beneath Gothic canopies, with six sons of Jacob, six Apostles and the Annunciation in the tracery. Baddeley's 1890 guide records the window as about to be filled with glass by Ward and Hughes, but it appears never to have been made: the north transept kept plain glass until 1914.

Monumental sectional map of the whole Crimean War theatre in Ottoman Turkish, printed at the Imperial Military Engineering School press and dated May 1854 in the title cartouche, within months of the Anglo-French entry into the war. It reaches from Italy, Sicily and Malta across the Balkans, the Black Sea and Crimea, Anatolia and the Levant to Egypt, the Caucasus and western Persia, and appears to be the Ottoman military edition of Kiepert's general map of the Turkish Empire (Berlin, 1853). No other example of this edition has been traced.

Rare first issue, a proof before letters, of Conrad Martens's view of Sydney from the North Shore, drawn in 1842 and issued as a hand coloured lithograph in London in 1843; Wantrup calls it "a great rarity". The panorama looks south across a harbour crowded with shipping to the town, with Dawes Point and its battery, St James's Church above the buildings, Government House and the Government Stables towards the right and Fort Macquarie at the left. Martens turned to lithography in the depression of the early 1840s to circulate his views of Sydney.

Rare large paper copy of the 1784 issue of Sydney Parkinson's journal of Cook's first voyage, in Wantrup's words "undeniably the most handsome of all the unofficial accounts of any of Cook's voyages". Parkinson sailed in the Endeavour as natural history draughtsman to Joseph Banks and died at sea in 1771. In 1784 John Coakley Lettsom reissued the sheets with Fothergill's Remarks, a double-page map of the hemispheres and an appendix on the voyages from Byron to Clerke. Imperial quarto, with an engraved frontispiece portrait, 27 numbered plates and the map: 29 plates in all.

Rare hand coloured engraving of Sydney Cove from Dawes Battery during the Macquarie period, drawn by Captain James Wallis and engraved by Walter Preston, from Wallis's An Historical Account of the Colony of New South Wales (1821). The town extends along both shores of the Cove, with wharves, warehouses and small craft on the waterfront, the Commissariat Stores and buildings along George Street, and windmills on the higher ground beyond. Part of the earliest substantial series of engraved views of Sydney.

Early c.20th map of central Sydney published by H. E. C. Robinson and lithographed in colour, with a biplane flying over the city in the title at top left and decorative scrollwork in the corners. Numerous prominent buildings are drawn pictorially and named. The map covers Sydney from Careening Cove to Redfern Park and from Glebe Island to Elizabeth Bay.
