We have been supplying books to collectors, libraries and readers for over 40 years. Catalogues are issued monthly in hard copy or are on-line for viewing or downloading.

Our premises are 5 mins drive north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and we are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm.

Beautifully bound in half morocco with raised bands. xii,423,8;v,361,10pp. t.e.g. 19 engraved plates, 18 text figures & 2 fold-out charts, laid down on linen. The charts are of the Great Barrier Reef and the eastern end of the Island of Java. The edges of the plates, though not the pages, with sl.water-marking. The first British expedition to be despatched to Australia on a surveying mission. 1st ed. Very Scarce.

Many marginal notes on the persons involved, the endpapers filled with relevant anecdotes and an index, all in contemporary or early 18th century hands.
